Buster Bodfield, 60, of Upland, died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at the VA 
Hospital in Omaha.

The family has honored Buster’s wishes that his body be cremated.  There will 
be no visitation.
 
A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 31, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at 
Lexington Christian Church with Pastor Kyron C. BeDunnah officiating.
 
Inurnment with Military Honors will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.
 
He was born July 22, 1950, at Gothenburg to Paul and Audrey (Wilcox) 
Bodfield.  

Buster was united in marriage to Linda Lundock on June 24, 1972, at Sterling, 
Colo.   Two sons were blessed to this marriage, Jamie and Rob.

Buster was then united in marriage to Brenda Rapp on Aug. 22, 1997, at 
Lexington.  He welcomed Brenda’s two children, Jennifer and Richie Workman.  

Survivors include his wife; Brenda Bodfield of Upland; two sons, Jamie (Amy) 
Bodfield of Lincoln, Richie Workman of Chadron; one daughter, Jennifer Workman 
of Fort Collins, Colo.; stepfather, Dan Peppler of Cozad; two sisters, Audra 
(Bruce) Anderson of Lexington, Deannie  (Justin) Hudson of Holdrege; five 
grandchildren, Evan, Ethan, Riley, Kaden and Brooklyn; mother-in-law, Winona 
Barker of Cambridge as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
 
Buster was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Rob; two brothers, Mike 
and Rob and one nephew, Blue.
