Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 26, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with the Rev. Paul Colling officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 25, 2010, from 3-5 p.m. at the Reynolds- Love Funeral Home in Lexington. She was born Aug. 7, 1942, at Syracuse, N.Y. to Frederick and Helen B. (Lancette) Andrews. Pat went to school in Syracuse and graduated from Solvay High School in 1960.  After school she worked at K-Mart in Syracuse as a floor manager.  She met the love of her life, Virgil, on a blind date and married Virgil “Brandy” Branstiter on July 19, 1977, at Syracuse.  The couple was blessed with one son, Tim. When they moved to Lexington, Pat worked at Reach Electronics and Ben Franklin Store.  She then went to work for Med-Pro which eventually became Sandhills Packaging where she worked for 19 years.  Her fellow employees became her second family. Pat had many joys in her life, the first and foremost was her loving family.  She spent years bowling on the Twilight League for Dan’s Sanitation and also enjoyed reading.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and always loved a good story.  She could beat the pants of anybody she played Scrabble with and just ask about her grandkids and her face lit up!!  She will be so very missed by her family and large circle of friends. Survivors include her husband, Virgil “Brandy” Branstiter of Lexington; one son, Tim (Brenda) Branstiter of Grand Island; three grandchildren, Kyle M. Baumgartner of Omaha, Brooke E. Branstiter and friend Chris Barber of Cozad, Tyler S. Branstiter of Kearney; one great-grandson, Brayden Barber of Cozad and one brother, William R. (Donna) Thompson of Syracuse. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Deborah Russo.
