Dorothy Brown, age 83 of Cozad, died March 8, 2008 at the Hilltop Estates in 
Gothenburg.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. today, March 12 at the Grandview 
Cemetery northeast of Gothenburg with her son, Scott McNeal officiating.     
   
Visitation was on Tuesday, March 11 at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad. 

Survivors include her three daughters, Chris McLoy of Cozad, Sheryl Sullivan 
of St. George, Utah, and Cori Brown of Tooele, Utah; son, Scott (Kaylyn) 
McNeal of St. George, Utah; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and five sisters.

She was born Aug. 5, 1924 at Evanston, Wyo., to Leon and Eulalia (Moore) 
Danks.  She graduated from North Platte High School in 1942.  She attended 
Brigham Young University at Provo, Utah. 

Dorothy married Mearl McNeal in 1945 and the couple made their home at North 
Platte.  To this union three children were born; Chris, Scott, and Sheryl.
