Jay C. Buss, 56, of Cozad, died Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Cozad Community 
Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2011 at the 
Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Atteberry officiating.  There 
will be no burial. 

Visitation for memorial book signatures will be held on Thursday, March 24, 
2011 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad.

He was born on Dec.15, 1954 at Cozad to Ralph and Artis (Coller) Buss. Jay 
graduated from Cozad High School in 1973. 

Survivors include his loving companion for 30 years, Gail Nelson of Cozad; a 
daughter, Shannon (Mike) Hardee of Cozad; two sons, Mike (Kendra) Nelson of 
Arnold and Chris (Robin) Buss of Bertrand; a sister, Doris (Earl) Atteberry of 
Lincoln; 13 grandchildren; two nephews, Richard Atteberry of Lincoln and Tracy 
(Shawna) Atteberry of Chicago, Ill.; a niece, Kendra (Zach) Smith of Lincoln 
and many other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Artis.
