Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 29 at the American Lutheran Church in Gothenburg with Pastor Matthew Groenke officiating. Burial will be in the Cozad Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad. Survivors include his wife, Maryan of Cozad; a son, Jon (Val) Carlson of Omaha; two daughters, Jodi (Jay) Doran of Austin, Texas and Chris Carlson of Reston, Va.; six grandchildren, Evan, Andrea, Kalen, Erin, Sarah and Jeff; and a brother, Rodney Carlson of Cozad. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Donald; two brothers, Dale and Donald; and a sister, Lois Scott. He was born March 28, 1925 at Gothenburg to Lester and Myrtle (Stenman) Carlson. He attended Cozad High School where he was a member of the class of 1943. On Sep. 20, 1953, he married Maryan Franzen at Gothenburg and the couple made their home in Cozad.
