Verda R. Chandler, 86, of Colorado Springs, Colo., died June 6, 2010.

Services were held at Friendship Assembly in Colorado Springs with Pastor Tom 
Craddock and Lloyd Gordon officiating. 

She was laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver. 
 
She was born Aug. 11, 1923, to Joseph W. Ryckman and Ruth O. Ferguson Ryckman.
On Nov. 23, 1939, she married Donald C. Chandler at her parents’ farm in 
Eddyville. They lived in Lexington for more than 50 years before moving to 
Colorado Springs in 2002. She was a member of Friendship Assembly.

Survivors include her loving husband of 70 years, Donald C. Chandler of 
Colorado Springs; three daughters, Dee (John) Prockish of Fountain, Colo., 
Kathy (Gil) Little of Westminster, Calif., Ginny (Lloyd) Gordon of Colorado 
Springs; one son, Larry (Donna) Chandler of Aurora, Colo.; 13 grandchildren; 
22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
