All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ne/nefiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Danny Gruber danny.gruber@gmail.com December 10, 2010, 11:36 am Lexington Clipper-Herald Dec. 11, 2010 Stephen Lee Cox, 64, of Lexington, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.  Memorial Services will be held on Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary in Cambridge.  Inurnment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Cambridge.  Conducting services will be Bill Weaver.  Steve was born on Feb. 22, 1946 in Oberlin, Kan., to Alva and Darlene (Wyman) Cox.  He was united in marriage to Jan Van Lengren. To this marriage two children were born, Stephen and Susan.    Steve worked for the box factory in Hastings, the city utilities of Hastings and various farmers through out the area.  He was last employed by T.O. Haas tire in Lexington.   He is survived by his son Robert (Stephanie) of Hastings; sister, Elsie (Tom) Heinen of Arapahoe; brothers, Roy (Kandra Kinne) of Cambridge, Ed (Gretchen) of Grand Island; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
