(Skinner) DeFilipps, 90, of Lexington, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at Tri-County Hospital in Lexington. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington with Reverend Caroline Vickery and Pastor John Shields co-officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.   There will be no public visitation, but the casket will be open prior to the funeral service. Survivors include one son, Charles M. DeFilipps of Lexington; two daughters, Kathleen Marie DeFilipps of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Ella Mae (Mike) Sculley of Lexington; four grandchildren, Joseph Sculley of North Platte, Sarah Sculley and special friend Oscar De La Torre, Megan Sculley and KC DeFilipps, all of Lexington.  Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe, in 2002; brother, Charles Skinner, Jr. and granddaughter, Elizabeth Sculley.  She was born Nov. 5, 1918 at Kansas City, Mo., to Charles T. and Ella Mae (Haley) Skinner, Sr.   Marge graduated from high school in Kansas City and went on to receive her bachelor of science in nutrition from the University of Illinois and was a registered dietician at VA Hospitals in New York City and Chicago. She was united in marriage to Joseph L. DeFilipps on April 16, 1955, Country Club Christian Church in Kansas City, Mo.   Joe and Marge moved their family to rural Lexington where they owned and operated C.T. Skinner, Sr. and DeFilipps Cattle Company along with Holiday Travel and Cruises.   Marge was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lexington where she served as Deacon, Sunday school teacher, youth group leader and served on the Women’s Council.
