Saul Diaz, 55, of Lexington, died Saturday, March 19, 2011, at his home in 
Lexington.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 25, 2011, at 10 a.m. at St. 
Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with the Rev. Paul Colling officiating.
 
Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery at Lexington.
 
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 24, 2011, from 1-6 p.m. at the 
Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington with Rosary at 6 p.m., also at the funeral 
home.
 
He was born March 11, 1955, at Puerto Barrios Izabal, Guatemala to Pedro and 
Tomasa Escobar.  Saul graduated from high school in Guatemala.  He was united 
in marriage to Martha Lydia de Diaz and two children were blessed to this 
marriage, Shanny and Allan.
 
Survivors include his wife, Martha Lydia of Guatemala City, Guatemala; his 
children, Shanny Diaz and Allan Diaz, both of Guatemala City; his parents, 
Pedro and Tomasa of Lexington; one sister, Reyna (Tomas) Mendoza of Lexington; 
two nephews, Giovanni Ibarra and Alvaro Mendoza, both of Lexington and two 
nieces, Nancy Ibarra of Omaha and Karina Mendoza of Lexington.
 
Saul was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Ibarra.
