Funeral Services will be Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the Overton Methodist Church in Overton, with the Rev. Katherine Bullard officiating and Pastor Christian Mattison officiating. Burial will be in the Overton Cemetery at Overton. Visitation will be held Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. Survivors include three sons, Warren D. Else of Overton, Timothy E. Else of Kearney, David J. (Mary) Else of Overton; four daughters, Rosella J. (Clyde) Vance of Lexington, Mary R. Else and Jane M. (Rod) Noah, all of Elm Creek, Irene Else of Overton; one brother, Charles (Nel) Wolfe of Harrah, Okla.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.   Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Warren in 1974: infant son, Wayne; five sisters, Ruth, Ethel, Lela, Lillian and a sister in infancy and one brother, John.  She was born June 10, 1927 at Edna, Kan., to Charles and Pearl (Nelson) Wolfe. She moved to Nebraska in the early 1950s, and worked at a dairy north of Elm Creek. It was at this time she met Warren Else and they were united in marriage on Oct. 19, 1952, at Elm Creek. Eight children were blessed to this marriage; Rosella, Warren and Wayne who were twins, but Wayne died as an infant, Timothy, Mary, David, Jane and Irene.   Doris worked in the dietary department at Good Samaritan Hospital and was a cook and dishwasher for Plainview Café and Golden Corral Café. She also helped on the farm and after the death of Warren in 1974, she was left to raise her large family on her own.
