Kent Elwin Frost, 57, of rural Overton, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at his 
home near Overton.

Funeral Services in Lexington will be held Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at 10:30 
a.m. at the Berean Bible Church with Pastor Glenn Johnson officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, from 3-5 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love 
Chapel in Lexington.

A second service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at the 
Bates-Gould Funeral Home in Alliance. Burial will be in the Hemmingford 
Cemetery at Hemmingford.

He was born Oct. 2, 1953, at Alliance, to Kenneth Elwin and Genevieve (Mills) 
Frost.  Kent was a 1971 graduate of Hemingford High School and a 1976 graduate 
of Chadron State College, where he received his BA in Education.

Kent was united in marriage to Shari L. Marshall on July 7, 1984 in Kearney.  
Two sons were blessed to this marriage; Jacob & Bryan.

Survivors include his wife:  Shari Frost of Overton;  two sons:  Jacob (Ammie) 
Frost of Chadron, with the first grandson on the way,  Bryan Frost of Overton; 
his mother:  Genevieve Frost of Alliance; one sister:  Dixie (Roger) Bussey of 
Hemingford.
 
Kent was preceded in death by his father; Shari’s parents; a sister-in-law and 
brother-in-law.
