Harris, 104, of Beatrice, formerly of Lexington, died Monday, April 7, 2008, at the P.E.O. Home in Beatrice. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 14, at St. Peter’s in the Valley Episcopal Church in Lexington with the Rev. Elizabeth Montes officiating. P.E.O. Memorial Service will also be performed by Chapter GR, Lexington. Inurnment will be held prior to the memorial service at Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. It was Marion’s wishes her body be cremated, so there will be no visitation. Survivors include one son, William (Jean) Harris of Johnson Lake; two grandsons, Tim (Melissa) Harris of Johnson Lake, and Steve (Cindy) Harris of Denver. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; son, Philip; and one brother, Ralph. Marion born Nov. 25, 1903, at Sault Sainte Marie, Mich., to George D. and Alice (Nash) Richards. She moved with her family to Nebraska and grew up in the North Platte area. She was a 1921 graduate of North Platte High School.  On Dec. 25, 1929 she was united in marriage to Frank Harris, at Petersburg.
