Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 7 at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel in Cozad with Jim Gleason officiating. Burial will be in the Cozad Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 6 at the Berryman Funeral Home. Survivors include her three daughters, Christine (Leon) Wheeler of Salt Lake City, Utah, Kimberly Woodruff of Cozad and Leigh (Robb) Stieb of Lexington; two sons, Mel (Mandy) Valenzuela and Norm (Kimberly) Valenzuela of Cozad; three brothers, Bill (Willow) Hawley of Phoenix, Ariz., Les Hawley of Seattle, Wash., and Gary (Judy) Hawley of Cozad; three sisters, Pat Blacker of Lander, Wyo., Judy (Evans) Durand of Omaha and Nancy (LeRoy) Genovesi of Omaha; 19 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; and special friends, Stan (JoAnn) Furgison of Salt Lake City, Utah. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Darlene Gleason; brother, Stan; daughter-in-law, Patty Valenzuela; and an infant grandson. She was born Jan. 30, 1944 at Kearney to Clayton Hawley and Vera Dolan.
