Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel in Lexington, Nebraska with Pastor Megan Morrow officiating.   Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, from 4-8 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel.   Memorials are suggested to U.S. Humane Society or Tri-County Hospital Hospice.   It was Kathy’s wishes her body be cremated following her funeral service and Inurnment will be held later with family present at the Evergreen Cemetery in Lexington. Survivors include her parents: Ken and Ruth of Lexington; two sisters, Bonnie Lee (Ron) Rowan of Berthoud, Colo., Deb (Bernie) Petersen of Bastrop, La.; one brother, Kenneth Wayne Hendricks of Cozad; her loving cats, Russell and Dodger; one niece, Corrin (Lance) Goudzwaard of Littleton, Colo., two nephews, Keith Sladky of Ogallala, Jim (Dawn) Sladky of Oxford; three uncles, Walter (Doris) Hendricks of Broken Bow, Orin (Della) Hendricks of Cozad, Richard (Joyce) Hendricks of Callaway and nine grand-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.     Kathy was preceded in death by her grandparents, one aunt and one cousin.  She was born Aug. 26, 1947, at Callaway to Rollie Kenneth and Ruth Renee (Aikin) Hendricks.   Kathy grew up in Callaway until she was in the fifth grade, when the family moved to Lexington. She was baptized at Morningstar Evangelical Church near Callaway.   Kathy finished her education in Lexington, graduating from Lexington High School with the class of 1965. She then attended a semester at Kearney State College, but decided work was more important at the time and went to work for Lexington Community Hospital. In 1981, she went back to school at Kearney State College where she received her Licensed Practical Nursing Degree.
