Kyle Adam Johnston, 27, of Gothenburg, died June 17, 2010 in Gothenburg. 
Services will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Monday, June 21, 2010 
at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Gothenburg Cemetery, Gothenburg.

Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, 
Saturday, June 19, 2010 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m. until 
the service.

Kyle was born July 31, 1982 in North Platte, the second son of Kenneth Bruce 
Sr. and Lori Ann (Nelson) Johnston.

He grew up in North Platte and Ft Morgan, Colo., and later moved to Gothenburg 
at the age of 15. He attended schools in North Platte and Gothenburg before 
earning his GED and high school diploma from the Pine Ridge Job Corps Center 
in Chadron. 

Surviving are his father, Kenneth Bruce Johnston, Sr. of North Platte; mother, 
Lori Ann Edwards of Lexington; brother, Kenneth Bruce Johnston Jr.; sister, 
Amber Rose Johnston and boyfriend Jason Block; girlfriend, Heidi Renee' 
Schultz and their expected child to be; nephew, James Elliott Swanson, all of 
Gothenburg; grandmother, Dorothy Johnston of North Platte; grandfather, Glenn 
Nelson, Sr. and wife Berta of Gering; uncles, Glenn Nelson, Jr. and wife 
Loretta of Wakefield, Kan.; Mark Nelson of Lincoln; Brad Nelson of Sutherland; 
aunts, Lisa Nelson of Wakefield, Kan., Ronda (Tom) Rosenthan of Hastings; 
Debora Johnston of North Platte; cousins, Chad, Christopher and Corey Nelson, 
all of Wakefield, Kan.; Dawn and Christopher Horn, Dominique and Shakira, and 
Christopher, Jr., all of Hastings; Kent and Gina Lindenmuth of Deshler; 
Cynthia Johnston of North Platte and a host of friends.

Kyle was preceded in death by his grandmother, Beverly Nelson; uncles, Raymond 
and Russell Johnston; cousin, Dianna Lindenmuth and grandfather Ronald 
Johnston.
