Donna Rae (Lutjemeyer) Kenning, 70, of Gothenburg, died on Aug. 13, 2011 at 
the Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte. 

A memorial service for Donna will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 18, 
2011 at the American Lutheran Church at 1512 Ave G in Gothenburg. Inurnment 
will follow at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Gothenburg.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., Wednesday, Aug.17, at Blase-Strauser 
Memorial Chapel in Gothenburg, with the family present from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Donna was born Jan. 16, 1941 at the Gothenburg Hospital in Gothenburg to 
Harvey and Irene (Jobman) Lutjemeyer. Donna grew up on the family farm in 
Gothenburg. She was united in marriage to Kenny Kenning in Brighton, Colo., on 
Dec. 2, 1970. Their three children are Theresa, Monte and Mitch. 

Surviving Donna is her husband, Kenny; daughter, Theresa (Tim) Holley; son 
Monte Kenning, all of Gothenburg; son, Mitch (Stephanie) Kenning of Cheyenne, 
Wyo.; nine grandchildren, Tiffany (Kenneth) Ronning, Jessy Ellison, Landon 
(Molly) Ellison, Elissa (Dan) Newbrey, Reed Howard, all of Gothenburg; Kasey 
Kenning, stationed in Korea; Brandon Kenning of Colorado; Thomas Kenning and 
Keeley Kenning, both of Wyoming; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kole, Adi, 
Kaitiy Lyn, Dallas, Stetson, Bella, Brennan, Brayden and Easton and numerous 
other family and friends. 

Donna was preceded in death by her parents.
