Knoedler, 92, of Omaha, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, at Hospice House in Omaha. Services were held Friday, Jan. 4, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington, with Pastor Stan Murdoch officiating. Visitation was prior to the funeral service. Burial was in the greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Gladys is survived by three daughters, Lola (Vernon) Emery of Ekalaka, Mont., Dorothy/Dot Northwall of Bellevue, Vicki (David) Childers of Lakeland, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Louise Knoedler of North Platte; sister-in-law, Marie Knoedler of Lexington; ten grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl; her son, Carl Jr.; and six brothers, Herman, Harry, Arthur, Casper, Ralph, and Walter. She was born Sept. 13, 1915, near Lexington, to Charles and Dollie (Dingee) Brand. Gladys attended District No. 37 school at Darr and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1932. On June 7, 1936, she married Carl Christian Knoedler.
