The family has honored Mary’s wishes that her body be cremated. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.   She was born Feb. 11, 1963, at Garden City, Kan., to Frank and Rosie (Folsem) Burchett.   Mary was united in marriage to Alan Lemm on Dec. 21, 1985, at Norfolk, Va. The couple moved to Lexington in 2007 for Alan’s job. She had been ill prior to moving to Lexington and her health just gradually went downhill.  She loved to cook, knit, crochet, but most importantly, her family was her world. She was able to be at the birth of their granddaughter, Ruby, a couple of months ago and the family will always cherish that memory.   Mary was a wonderful wife, mother and best friend. She fought so hard her whole life with illnesses and accidents and will be so very missed.   Survivors include her husband, Alan Lemm of Lexington; one son, Adam Foster of Lexington; three daughters, Nina Brown of Deerfield, Kan., and her children, Sean, Christopher and Kathleen; Rachel Settle of Wichita, Kan., Kimberly Hamilton of Haysville, Kan., and her children, Dakota and Ruby; two brothers, Frank Burchett of Wichita Falls, Texas; Blue Burchett of Garden City and one sister, Lisa Burchett of Wichita, Kan.  Mary is also survived by nieces and nephews.   Mary was preceded in death by her grandparents and parents.   File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ne/dawson/obits/l/lemm320gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/nefiles/ File size: 2.0 Kb
