Henry Lenz, age 73, of Cozad, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, at the Cozad 
Community Hospital.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at the Berryman 
Funeral Home Chapel in Cozad with Jeremy Jech officiating. Burial will be in 
the Cozad Cemetery.

The casket will be closed. Visitation for memorial book signatures was Friday 
at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn of Cozad; a son, Henry “Pete” Lenz II of 
Cozad; two daughters, Dora Lenz and Anita (Roy) Dewey, both of Cozad; a 
sister, Bonnie Paltuchie; and two grandchildren.

Henry was preceded in death by a son, George in 2002; his parents; a brother, 
Thurman and three sisters, Edna Lenz, Georgie Lenz and Irene Land.

He was born May 9, 1934, in Arcadia to George and Nettie (Blakeslee) Lenz and 
attended school in Lexington. In 1957, he entered the U. S. Army.

On Aug. 4, 1966, he married Carolyn L. Allen in Cozad.
