Irene Mae Loschen, age 95 of Kearney, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008 at Good 
Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.

Services will be held Monday, March 3, at 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in 
Lexington with Pastor Megan Morrow officiating. Burial will be in the 
Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2 from 2-4 p.m. at Reynolds-Love 
Funeral Home in Lexington.

Survivors include one son, Marvin (Patsy) Loschen of Lexington; one daughter, 
Phyllis Murrish of Kearney; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Loschen of Evansville, 
Ind.; one brother, Bud (Ann) Soucie of Campbell; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-
grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; son, Larry; two 
granddaughters; one son-in-law, Keith; four brothers, Leo, Oliver, Calvin and 
Dwaine; and three sisters, Olive, Stella and Blanche.

She was born July 26, 1912, at Upland to Sylvester and Nellie (Ganger) Soucie 
and grew up in the Upland area.

On June 18, 1933, she married George Loschen in Hildreth and then moved to 
Lexington. Three children were blessed to this union; Marvin, Phyllis and 
Larry.
