Services will be Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Lexington with the Rev. Caroline Vickery officiating.   Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.   Visitation was Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at the Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington. She was born Sept. 7, 1939, at Montgomery, Ala., to George Willard and Wilma O. (Hood) Howe. Helen grew up in Alabama and graduated from Enterprise High School in Enterprise, Ala.   Helen was united in marriage to George N. Luther on Nov. 2, 1958, at Enterprise, Ala., at the First Baptist Church. The marriage was blessed with three sons; Steve, Larry and Kenny. The couple moved to Nebraska in 1958, settling in Lexington in 1970.     Helen was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.   Survivors include her sons, Steve (Allison) Luther, Larry (Ann) Luther, Kenny (Christie) Luther; grandchildren, Leah, Caitlyn, Alexis and Aaron Luther, all of Lexington; Nathaniel, Samuel and Josephine, all of Kearney; and her sister, Patricia (Ken) Mitchell of Panama City Beach, Fla. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and husband, George in 1985.
