Visitation will be Sunday, July 19, 2009 from 4 to 7 p.m.  Survivors include her loving husband, Lonnie “Worm” McIntosh of Grand Island; a son Nicholas (Jayme) Wescoat of Cozad; a daughter, Victoria Stephens of Grand Island; three stepchildren, Shane McIntosh and his fiancée, Brandy Cassell of Kenesaw, Jenny (Charles) George of Minden and Misty McIntosh of Central City; sister Sherry (Merlin) Thaden of Lexington; brother, David Wescoat of Alda; 15 grandchildren, step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.  Vera was born Nov. 8, 1955, the daughter of Alvin and Eunice Ann (Kranau) Wescoat in Hastings. She was baptized on April 8, 1958 at Zion Lutheran Church in Hastings.
