Mary McLain, 99, of Arvada, Colo., formerly of Lexington, died Sunday, Nov. 
21, 2010, at Colorado Lutheran Home in Arvada.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity 
Lutheran Church in Lexington with Pastor Michael Gruhn officiating. 
Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. 

Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, from 5-7 p.m. at the Reynolds-
Love Funeral Home in Lexington. 

Mary was born April 5, 1911, in White Rock, S. D., to George and Lettie 
Goodwalt.  
 
She was united in marriage to Harold W. McLain of Wheaton, Minn., on Nov. 14, 
1931.  The couple lived in Minnesota and farmed until 1954.  They then moved 
to Colorado until 1976, and then moved to Lexington.  

Mary is survived by one daughter, Betty Shultz of Denver; one son, Dale McLain 
of Graceville, Minn.; 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 17 great-
great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold; sons, Donald and 
Kenneth McLain and four grandchildren.
