Jack Gillam will officiate.   Cremation will take place following the service with burial of ashes at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island.  Mary C. (Munoz) Mettenbrink was born Dec. 8, 1931 in Lexington, the sixth child of Genaro and Filiberta (Godinez) Munoz, Sr. Mary was raised in Lexington graduating from Lexington High School, class of 1949.  She was united in marriage to Manuel Martinez of Gibbon in December of 1953.  To this union they were blessed with six daughters. Her husband, Manuel preceded her in death on April 26, 1970.  On July 11, 1982 she was united in marriage to Herb Mettenbrink.  She welcomed three stepchildren into the family.   Survivors include her husband, Herb; daughters, Maxine (Rod) Berry of Loomis, Alice (Tim) Speak of Lexington, Mary (Jeff) Steele of Lyndon, Ill., Pat (Rod) Ridenour of Holdrege, Carm (Robert) Hinrichs of Bruning and Angela (John) Fritton of Lexington; stepchildren, Wendy (Mike) Bates of Norman, Okla., Todd (Cathy) Mettenbrink of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Troy Mettenbrink of Grand Island; sisters and brother-in-law, Margaret Munoz and Angie and Joe Hernandez, all of Lexington; brother and sister-in-law, Genaro and Esther Munoz of Greeley, Colo., and sister-in-law, Helen Ramirez of Lincoln.  Other survivors are grandchildren, Nicole and Aaron Mattson, Camela and Brian Houston, Allison and Adam Perry, Ashley Speak, Miranda and Scott Wetzell, Ryan Steele, Lindsey Steele, Mandy and Jeff Wemhoff and Thomas Ridenour, Josh Hinrichs and Marcus Fritton; step-grandchildren, Jake and Joy Fritton, Marie and Tyler McConahay, Jessica Bates, Reid, Grant and Elise Mettenbrink and Blake Mettenbrink; great-grandchildren, Aidan and Addison Perry, Olivia and Naomi Mattson and Colt Houston, Madison and Harper Wetzell, Alexis and Keyana Steele, Jamie Steele and Lillian Lustgraff; step-great-grandchildren, Landon and Lauren Wemhoff and Lilly Fritton; and a host of brother-in-laws, sister-in- laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and lifetime special friends, Diane and Ken Nelson of Ord.  In addition to her first husband, Manuel, and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Louis, Salvador, James, Victoria Munoz and step grandchild, Jason Bates.  File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ne/dawson/obits/m/mettenbr698gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/nefiles/ File size: 3.2 Kb
