Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21 at the Eddyville United Methodist Church with Pastor Larry Milliken officiating. Interment will be in the Sumner Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday, May 20, at the O’Brien - Straatmann Funeral Home in Kearney. O’Brien - Straatmann Funeral Home of Kearney is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Eileen of Lexington; son, Charles Moore of Cozad; daughters, Linda(Bob) Kroon of Longmont, Colo., Diana Evan of Lexington, Pam (Ron) Stryker of Eddyville, Teresa Kitzing of Snyder; brothers; George (Lucy) Moore of Overton, Calvin (Jean) Moore of Elm Creek; sisters, Dorothy (Keith) Stevens of Elm Creek, Janet Benson of Loomis, Mary Klein of Lexington, Beverly (Albert) Crow of Mason City; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Albert James and Richard Darrel Moore. Dick was born on Jan. 21, 1932 in Gothenburg to Charles and Opal (Roe) Moore. He grew up in Elm Creek and attended school there. On April 28, 1949, he was united in marriage to Katherine “Eileen” Norbeck in Norton, Kan. The couple then resided in Callaway.
