Nitsch, 64, of Lexington died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, at Bryan LGH East Medical Center in Lincoln. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 9, from 5-7 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. Funeral Services will be Thursday, Feb. 10 at 10:30 a.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington, with the Rev. Caroline Vickery officiating. Burial will be with Military Honors in the Evergreen Cemetery at Lexington. Gary was born Oct. 12, 1946, at McCook to Arvene and Deloris (West) Nitsch. He graduated from Hayes Center High School with the class of 1965.  He was united in marriage to Naomi Uhre in 1971 at Rapid City, S. D.  Two children were born to this marriage, Tammy and Arvene.  The marriage later ended in divorce. Survivors include one son,  Arvene Nitsch of Lexington; one daughter, Tammy (Ross) Farr of Scott City, Kan.; one brother,  Clayton Nitsch of Lexington; one sister,  Bonnie (Carl) Raastad of Cozad; two grandchildren, Dakota and Kolby Farr of Scott city, Kan. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and one half-brother, Kirk Meyer. Memorials are suggested to the Family for later designation.
