O’Donnell, 80, of Lexington, died March 14, 2011, at Tri-County Hospital in Lexington. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 10:30 at First United Methodist Church in Lexington with Pastor Tess Hufford, officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, March 18, 2011, from 5-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington. He was born on March 18, 1930, to James V. & Esther (Grantham) O’Donnell in Lexington. Jim went to grade school in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School in 1948. Following High School, he earned a degree from Colorado State University at Fort. Collins in 1952. Jim met his first wife in Fort. Collins and they were married on Oct. 12, 1952, in Fort. Collins. Four children were born to this union: Coleen, Terry, Kevin and Kathy. He then married Jackie. They would later divorce. Survivors include two sons, Terry (Diane) O’Donnell of Cozad, Kevin (Annette) O’Donnell of Seward; two daughters, Coleen (Dave) Storjohann and Kathy (Bill) Long, all of Lexington; one sister, Kathleen Walton of Bowie, Md.; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three nephews, extended family and many friends. James was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Margaret; his second wife Jackie and one infant grandson, Adam.
