Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law Charles Spencer and Dennis Tenhoff. He was born Dec. 6, 1928, at Lexington to Louis C. and Lena D. (Larsen) Olnhausen. Robert was baptized as an infant in the Methodist Church and attended Sunday school in the Methodist church through his teen years.   Robert attended Cozad High School, where he played football and basketball, and was in the National Honor Society. He graduated from Cozad High School with the class of 1946, and attended Nebraska Wesleyan College for one year. Robert returned to Cozad, where he farmed with his father, and later purchased and rented farmland, and farmed for himself for many years. He was in the Army Reserves for approximately four years prior to the Korean Conflict. Robert was a charter member of the Cozad Elks Club, and a member of the Cozad Golf Club for many years.   In December 1972 he married Gloria Tenhoff Morton, in Las Vegas, Nev. In 1988 they retired from the farm south of Cozad and moved to Lexington.   Bob never lost his interest in the farm, and had a good relationship with the renters and “keepers” of the land. Bob never had “birth” children, but loved the children and grandchildren he acquired when he and Gloria were married. They all thought of him as “Dad” and “Grandpa”, and it became a happy and loving family.   Bob enjoyed having coffee and visiting with “the fellas” downtown, and had many friends. He lived in Dawson County his entire life.     File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ne/dawson/obits/o/olnhause127gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/nefiles/ File size: 3.0 Kb
