All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ne/nefiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Danny Gruber danny.gruber@gmail.com June 30, 2010, 7:14 pm Lexington Clipper-Herald Feb. 21, 2009 Jim O’Mara, age 73, of Kearney, died Wednesday, Feb.18, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  There will be no visitation.   Jim is survived by his wife, Jan O’Mara of Kearney; sons, Shawn O’Mara of Highlands Ranch, Colo., Shayne (Annette) O’Mara of Kearney; daughter, Heather Galvan and her significant other Don Jennings of Kearney; brothers, Jerome (Jean) O’Mara of Bountiful, Utah; Rodger O’Mara of Loveland, Colo., Kenneth (Marejo) O’Mara of Eddyville, Paul O’Mara of Oley, Pa., and a sister, Theresa (James) Potter of Wichita Falls, Texas.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one infant brother. Jim was born July 10, 1935 in Eddyville to Earl and LouElla (Wheeler) O’Mara.  He graduated from Eddyville High School in 1953.  Jim joined the Army in January of 1955 and was stationed in Korea. He married Janis Johnson on Nov. 15, 1955 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Eddyville.  They moved to Kearney in 1965.  Jim worked in maintenance at Rockwell Manufacturing.  He also worked for the Roy Feed Company in Ravenna and the Shoftstalls Hay Mill.  Jim worked as a maintenance man at the Gibbon care home and the Mt.
