Funeral Services will be Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Overton with the Rev. Katherine Bullard officiating.   Burial will be in the Overton Cemetery at Overton.   Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, from 2-5 p.m. at the Reynolds- Love Chapel in Lexington, Nebraska.  He was born Jan. 4, 1941, at Lexington, to Floyd “Mike” and Lorraine (Miller) Purintun of Overton. He attended school in Sumner and Overton and graduated from Overton High School with the class of 1959. He then went on to further his education at Kearney State College.   Lynn was united in marriage to Nancy Rhoadarmer on Aug. 19, 1962, at the United Methodist Church in Overton. Four children were blessed to this marriage; Jeff, Doug, Lori and Cari. Lynn and Nancy farmed their entire married lives and lived on the farm north of Overton.   Lynn was a past member of the Overton School Board, the Co-op as well as the United Methodist Church.     Survivors include his wife, Nancy Purintun of Overton; two sons, Jeff (Kristi) Purintun of Overton, and children, Sarah and Abby, Doug (Amy) Purintun of Gretna, and children Brandon, Rachael and Amanda; two daughters, Lori (Jim) Peitz of Hartington and children, Addison and Jake; Cari (Jeff) Skinner of The Woodlands, Texas and children, Andrew and Megan; one sister, Sharon (Ralph) Waddington of Palisade, Colo.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jerry and Clydene Purintun of Clinton, Okla., and father-in-law, Clyde (Lois) Rhoadarmer of Overton.  Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson, Jordan and mother-in- law, Doris Rhoadarmer.     File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ne/dawson/obits/p/purintun439gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/nefiles/ File size: 2.3 Kb
