There will be no memorial services. Her remains have been cremated and will be returned to Lexington at a later date. Liz was raised by her parents, Gerald and Emily Stuart, on their farm south of Lexington. She attended country school in Gosper County and graduated from Lexington High School. She attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, where she met and married Stanley Premer of Benkelman and had three children by this marriage, Paul, Jerry and Kathy. She lived in Davenport, Iowa, Denver, and in 1964 moved to Albuquerque, N.M., to marry J.O. “Dutch” Richardson, who also adopted her three children. She returned to Lexington in 1986 and got involved in many activities in the community, including the Lexington Community Foundation, where she chaired the Thanks A Million campaign with Gary and Robin Schultz. She was also involved with Keep Lexington Beautiful, the Lexington Community Concert Association, Chapter GR of PEO and the Dawson County Museum. In 1999, she was named the Volunteer of the Year by the Governor. She is survived by her children, Paul (Kim) Richardson of Los Angeles, Calif., Jerry Richardson of Santa Fe, and Kathy (Tim) Robertson of Washington DC. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brian and Patrick Robertson and Clare Richardson.
