Lily Jean Romero of Cozad died Nov. 28, 2009 at the University of Nebraska 
Medical Center in Omaha.

Services will be held Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Berryman 
Funeral Home Chapel in Cozad with the Rev. Don O’Brien officiating.

Burial will be in the Cozad Cemetery at Cozad.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Berryman Funeral 
Home in Cozad. 

She was born Nov. 28, 2009 to Ozzie Romero and Kylee Goings at Omaha. 

Our Little Angel Lily Jean – We were blessed to share a short time with you. 
Her little lungs and kidneys couldn’t function to keep her going. We are 
blessed she’s not suffering although we didn’t want to see her go. She is in 
all of our hearts and loved unconditionally.       

Survivors include her parents, Ozzie Romero and Kylee Goings of Cozad; one 
brother, Khayden and one sister, Kelseigh; grandparents, Tina Dugan (fiancé, 
Steve Carbaugh), Paul Goings, Kandy (Tony) Pflaster and Tommy (Merry) Romero 
all of Cozad; three uncles, Dusty Romero of Phoenix, Ariz., Levi Weiderholdt 
of Kearney and Cale Carbaugh of Cozad; four aunts, Kyra Goings, Reilly Goings, 
Lindsey Romero and Melissa Weiderholdt, all of Cozad and many other relatives 
and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents and her paternal 
great-grandfather.
