Rodney Ronning, age 55, of Gothenburg, died March 5, 2008 at North Platte.

Services were held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the Berryman Funeral Home 
Chapel in Cozad with Jeremy Jech officiating.  Burial was in the Fairview 
Cemetery south of Cozad.

Visitation was Monday at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad.

Survivors include his son, Kenneth (Tiffany) Ronning of Gothenburg; daughter, 
Kristie Ronning of Kearney; mother, Charlotte Lopez of Yakima, Wash.; father, 
Conrad Ronning of Sargent; sister, Diane (Dave) Harms of Sioux Falls, S.D., 
and five grandchildren, Kole, Kaitlyn, Jaidin, Annika, and Trey. 
He was preceded in death by his foster parents and grandparents, Lillian & 
Conrad Ronning, Sr.

Rodney was born May 10, 1952 at Sioux Falls, S.D., to Conrad and Charlotte 
(Moen) Ronning.  He lived with his foster parents, Merle and Clara Rasmussen 
at Beresford, S.D., where he graduated from high school.  

On Feb. 19, 1975, he married Justine Parsons at Lexington.
