Services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the American Lutheran Church in Cozad with Pastor Don Wilken officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery south of Cozad. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad. Survivors include her three sons, Terry (Betty) Rowe of Smithfield, Gayle (Johnnie) Rowe of Cozad, Doug (Renae) Rowe of Cozad; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence; and three sisters, Alice Day, Helen Hueftle, Dorothy Coder; and a granddaughter, Tammi Warner. She was born Nov. 11, 1913 in Frontier County, near Eustis, to Fred and Elizabeth (Grabenstein) Keller. She graduated from Eustis High School in 1931. On Feb. 20, 1936 she married Theodore “Ted” Rowe at Eustis. To their union three sons were born, Terry, Gayle and Doug. The couple lived the majority of their married life on a farm site south of Darr. Wilma kept busy as a farm wife and mother. Mr. Rowe preceded her in death in 2006. Following the death of her husband, Wilma resided at Meadowlark Pointe Assisted Living in Cozad where she enjoyed spending time with her friends that resided there. In recent years, she resided at the Elwood Care Center. Wilma was a long time member of the American Lutheran Church in Cozad and the Friendly Neighbor Extension Club. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, listening to Christian music, visiting with friends, and spending time with her family.
