Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with the Rev. Paul Colling officiating.  Visitation will be held Monday, July 11, 2011, from 4-6 p.m. with Wake to follow at 6 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.  Burial will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Fort McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell.  She was born Dec. 23, 1921, in Pierce County, to John and Anna (Uhing) Wortman.  Edith attended country school at Neligh.  She was united in marriage to Stanley Snodgrass in 1942 at Plainview.  Three children were born to this marriage; Ron, Alan and Marjean.  She was then united in marriage to Ed Schuckman in 1974 at Santa Rosa, N.M., and welcomed Ed’s two sons into the family, Byron and Barry.   Survivors include two sons, Ron Snodgrass of Topeka, Kan., Alan (Shannon) Snodgrass of Gilbert, Ariz.; one daughter, Marjean Johnson of Tucson, Ariz.; two stepsons, Byron Schuckman of Lexington, Barry (Dianne) Schuckman of Lincoln; one sister, Marcella Wies of Omaha; two sisters-in-law,  Margaret Wortman of Lexington, Marilyn Wortman of Aurora; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.   Edith was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; seven brothers, Leonard, Kenneth, Richard, Edward, Henry, Leo and John and one sister, Adeline Thompson.   File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ne/dawson/obits/s/schuckma743gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/nefiles/ File size: 2.1 Kb
