Services will be held on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010 at 3 p.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Cozad Cemetery. As per request of the family, there will be no visitation. Cipriano “Cip” Silva was born Dec. 14, 1931, in Santa Fe Del Rio, Michoacan, Mexico to Alberto and Angelina (Madrigal) Silva. Cipriano Silva came to the United States in 1962 and began a career at Monroe Automotive Equipment Co. where he was dutifully employed for 33 years until he retired in 1996. Cipriano Silva became a citizen of the United States in 1987 and was very proud of this accomplishment. Survivors include two sons and two daughters; Alberto (Melissa) Silva of Omaha, Jaime Silva of Greeley, Colo., Angie Potter (Jon) of Kennewick, Wash., and Rita Wolf (Kurt) of Greeley. Cipriano also had 15 grandchildren, Trysta, Katrina, Andreina, Alaina, Emilio, Diego, Jamie, Jenna, Danielle, Jarod, Jacob, Jade, DeLena, Devin and Brice; three great-grandchildren, Sofia, Caius, Josalynn and one sister, Theresa Delgado.
