Marvin Smith, age 74 of Cozad, died Friday, April 4, 2008 at the Saint 
Elizabeth’s Regional Medical Center in Lincoln.

Services were held Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the American Lutheran Church in 
Cozad with Pastor Terry Pool officiating.  Burial was in the Hill Side 
Cemetery north of Lexington.

Visitation was Monday, April 7, at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad.

Survivors include his wife, Twila Smith of Cozad;  and three daughters, Karen 
(Curt) Harper of Holdrege, Susan (Ray) Coleman of Sugarland, Texas, Patricia 
(Bob) Foged of Cozad; one stepson, Lonnie (Kelly) Parsons of North Platte; two 
step-daughters, Penny (Kent) Bartlett of Cozad, Cindy (Steve Carlson) Ackerman 
of Cozad; one brother, Raymond (Donna) Smith of Cozad; eight grandchildren; 
two great grandchildren; 21 step-grandchildren; 21 great-step-grandchildren 
and two-great-great step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Donald; sister, Neoma; 
and step-son Tony.

He was born Nov. 3, 1933 at Callaway, to James and Rose (Clark) Smith.  He 
attended Cozad High School.
