Scott D. Stone, age 51, of Cozad died Sept. 13, 2010 at the Good Samaritan
Hospital in Kearney.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the
Cozad Cemetery with Pastor J.C. Calhoun officiating.  

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Berryman
Funeral Home in Cozad.

Scott was born July 12, 1959 at Cozad to Raymond and Ettabell (Fenstermacher)
Stone.  He attended the Nebraska School for Trainable Children before graduating
from Cozad High School.  

Following his schooling, Scott worked for Ed Hald, at Cozad Nursery, for several
years.  Following his work at the nursery, Scott mowed lawns.  In November of
1994, Scott came to live at Haymaker Haven, where he also worked in maintenance.

Survivors include his brother, Allen (Noriko) Stone of Lincoln; sister, Carol
(Ray)Jacob of Cozad; 12 nieces and nephews; 10 great nieces and nephews and many
other relatives and friends.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Carma Barnes and
Pamela Slack.
