Carol Louise Suchy, 89, of Lexington, died Friday, March 4, 2011, at Tri-
County Hospital in Lexington.

Funeral Services will be Monday, March 7, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at First 
Presbyterian Church in Lexington with the Rev. Caroline Vickery officiating.  

The casket will be closed.

Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. 

Visiting hours with the family will be held Sunday, March 6, 2011, from 4-6 
p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. 

Carol was born on Sept. 18, 1921, near North Platte, the middle of three girls 
born to Rennie and Lillian (Carpenter) Mueller.  Her family moved to Lexington 
when Carol was age two.  She received her high school diploma from Lexington 
High School in 1938.  She taught school at Eddyville and then attended 
Nebraska State Teachers College at Kearney. 

Carol was united in marriage to Leonard Joe Suchy on April 18, 1942, and to 
this union five children were born;  Susan Carol, Jane Louise, Leonard Joe 
Jr., Rebecca Ruth and John Charles.  

On May 16, 1986, Carol was preceded in death by her husband Leonard. 

She is survived by three daughters, Susan (Larry ) Donohoe of Gordon, Texas; 
Jane (Larry ) Knowles of Cedaredge, Colo., and Rebecca (Steve) Easton of 
Amarillo, Texas.  

She is also survived by her two sons, Joe (Lynne) Suchy of Edmond, Okla., and 
John (Maureen) Suchy of Bentonville, Ark.  Carol had 15 grandchildren,  Mike 
(Ginger) Donohoe of Katy, Texas; Katy (Eddie) Lord of Rising Star, Texas; 
Kristin (Don) Pfaff of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Tom (Holly) Knowles of Meeker, 
Colo., Scott (Kelly) Suchy of Oklahoma City, Okla., Shannon (Mark) Peregrin of 
Edmond, Okla., Shay (Kyle) Payne of Maryville, Mo., Jeff (Lydia) Thompson of 
Mansfield, Texas, Todd Easton of Wichita, Kan., Kerry (Andrew) Hammett of 
Alexandria, Va., Elizabeth Easton of Dallas, Texas and Benjamin Suchy, Erin 
Suchy, Lauren Suchy, and Cameron Suchy, all of Bentonville.   Carol also had 
20 great-grandchildren and many cousins and friends. 

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her 
sisters, Ruth Mueller and Barbara Hartman.
