Mary I. Thomas, age 104 of Cozad, died April 5, 2011 at the Golden Living Care 
Center in Cozad.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the 
Berryman Funeral Home Chapel in Cozad with Pastor J.C. Calhoun officiating.    

Inurnment will be in the St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park at Granger, Ind., at 
a later date.  There will be no visitation.

Mary was born Jan. 13, 1907 at Indianapolis, Ind., to Bert and Hazel (Stiver) 
Doud.  She graduated from South Bend Central High School in 1925.

She is survived by her son, Blake (Jeanette) Hinton of North Platte; five 
grandchildren, David (Becky) Hinton of Casper, Wyo., Dianne (Clark) Laier of 
Eustis, Kathleen (Calvin) Miller of Omaha, Becky (Mohamed) Aboushady of Cozad, 
Randolph (Jean) Hinton of Lincoln; 10 great-grandchildren; seven great-great 
grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husbands, Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph; 
two sisters, Nora and Lucille and two infant siblings, Ben and Delores.
