White, 92, of Kearney, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at his home in Kearney. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington with Pastor Nathan Rhea officiating. Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery northwest of Lexington. Visitation will be held Monday, March 8, 2010, from 5-7 p.m. at the Reynolds- Love Funeral Home He was born Dec. 22, 1917 in rural Dawson County to Clyde and Darlina (Beans) White, the sixth of 11 children. Earl was the last one in his family still living. Earl attended rural school and was united in marriage to Jessie L. Fancolly on Nov. 30, 1947, at Atlantic, Iowa. Four children were blessed to this marriage; Alan, Arlyn, Paul and Carolyn. He was a hard worker, he worked the land on the farm, he worked at Monroe Auto in Cozad and Orthman Manufacturing in Lexington. Earl loved children and he and Jessie housed children in their home when they needed a place to live. He was a wonderful grandfather and great-grandfather and always had a large garden which he shared with his loving family. Earl is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jessie White of Kearney; one son, Alan (Jo) White of Lexington; two daughters, Arlyn (Lloyd) Sisneros of Lexington, Carolyn (Riley) Means of Kearney; nine grandchildren, Stacey White- Nielsen and husband Mike of Phoenix, Ariz., Kylee (Josh) Kuecker of Lexington, Nicholas White of Mesa, Ariz., Rachel Sisneros of Buckeye, Ariz., Rebekah (David) Lopez of Lexington, Elizabeth (Alex) Sorto of Lexington, Travis O’Brien of Holdrege, Tracy O’Brien of Minden, Kasey O’Brien of Lexington; 10 great-grandchildren, Madelynn Nielsen of Phoenix, Ariz., Reese and Kipley Kuecker of Lexington, Gabriel and Finnian Darby of Buckeye, Ariz., Avry Lopez of Lexington, Jesse Coronado and Eva Sorto of Lexington and Dominique and Jordan Peterson of Minden. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Paul in 1974; four brothers and six sisters.
