Virgil W. Winter, age 83 of Omaha died Friday, Feb. 22, 2008 in Omaha. 
 
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the 
Presbyterian Church of the Cross in Omaha.  Graveside services will be 
Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington with full 
military honors by VFW Post 5136.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis, of Omaha; daughter, Deborah (Thomas) 
Driscoll, Cheyenne, Wyo; grandchildren, Amy (Tony) Miceli, Bryan Driscoll, 
Meghan Driscoll and Ashley Driscoll; two great-grandchildren, Isabella Miceli 
and Mateo Miceli.

Virgil was preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanne (Neff) Winter; 
daughter, Diane Louise Jeffries; brothers, Roger Winter and Addison Winter.

He was born June 12, 1924 in Lexington, Neb. to Earl and Florence (Tomasek) 
Winter.
