    Sold Liquor Without a License
Ponca, Neb, May 5.--[Special Telegram to The Bee.]
George Irvine, proprietor of the Commercial hotel
of this city, was arrested Saturday evening on a
charge of selling liquor at his bar without a license.
He was taken before the County Judge Reynolds, 
pleaded guilty and fined $100 and costs. The saloons
of this city are all closed, as their licenses
have expired, and some trouble is being experienced
getting them renewed.
