Born to George and Frances Ortmeier Franzluebbers. 
On September 3, 1952, he married Lillian Vogel at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 
at Olean. 
Survivors include his wife, Lillian, of Dodge, daughters Marlene (Robert) Rolf 
of Dodge, Rita (Tim) Hunke of West Point and Janice (Ron) Parolek of Clarkson, 
sons David (LuAnn), Richard (Marlyce), Robert, and Don (Lori) all of Dodge, 
sisters, Josephine Kampschneider of Dodge, Caroline Kampschneider of West 
Point, Catherine Franzluebbers of Hayden, Idaho, Ann Steffensmeier of Howells, 
Sr. Georgiana Franzluebbers, OSF, and Sr. Frances Franzluebbers, OSF, both of 
Colorado Springs, CO and Rose Gentrup of West Point, 18 grandchildren and 6 
great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers 
Ferdinand, Herman, and John, and a son, Melvin, in February of 1979.
