Otis Theodore Alvison

Otis Theodore Alvison, banker, was born at Bloomfield, Iowa, October 13, 1881.
His father, James L. Alvison was born in New York City, July 10, 1846. He an
educator of English descent, who married Charlotte H. Hancock. He died at Long
Beach, California, September 12, 1928. Charlotte Hancock Alvison was born on the
Ohio River near Corn Island, Indiana, March 21, 1851, and is living in Long
Beach. She is also of English descent.

Otis T. Alvison was educated in the public schools of Omaha, and was graduated
from Omaha High School in 1899. In August of that year he entered the employ of
the Omaha National Bank as a clerk. He has been promoted through various
positions to that of vice president which position he has held for the past two
years.

He was married to Eleanor Southard at Council Bluffs, Iowa, on December 26,
1906. Mrs. Alvison was born at Morrison, Illinois, and is of Scotch and early
American ancestry. They have one daughter, Charlotte Jane, born September 20, 1910.

Mr. Alvison is a Republican. He is a member of the Scottish Rite and Shrine
bodies and is also affiliated with the Elks and is a member of the Lions Club.
He is active in the civic life of the city and is a member of the Chamber of
Commerce, and is treasurer of the Nebraska Humane Society. His clubs are the
Omaha Athletic, the Omaha and the Happy Hollow Country. Residence: Omaha.
