He was born at Blair, Washington County, Nebraska, March 29, 1873, the son of Hans and Caroline (Peck) Aye. His father, who was a carpenter and farmer, was born at Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, August 22, 1840, and died at Blair, January 31, 1901. His mother was born at Schleswig-Holstein, July 21, 1948, and died at Blair, February 2, 1924. Mr. Aye was graduated from the Blair High School. He was admitted to the practice of law at Blair, May, 1S95, and has been engaged in general practice since then. He was county attorney of Washington County from 1898-1902. On January 9, 1902, he was united in marriage with Nellie Elizabeth Haller, Mrs. Aye, whose ancestry is Swiss, was born in Wisconsin, December 24, 1878. They have three children: Catherine E., born March 10, 1904; Frederick, born June 11, 1907; and Miriam V., born July 3, 1911. From 1895 to 1911, Mr. Aye practiced law in Blair, and since that time has been engaged in practice at Omaha, Residence: Omaha.
