Frank Jerome Ayres

Frank Jerome Ayres was born at Galva, Illinois, October 1, 1857, son of John
Alonzo and Mary B. Ayres. In 1881, the family came to Nebraska.

He attended the Galva public school and high school, and completed a course at
the Davenport Business College in 1881. Upon coming to Nebraska, he engaged in
farming in Butler County for a time, retiring to engage in the agricultural
implement business at Oakdale. Later he returned to David City, where he
established a greenhouse and nursery business. Residence: Omaha.
