B. Payton, who is known to be one of the most popular colored citizens of Omaha, married Thursday evening to Mrs. Aurora Cornish, at the bride's residence, 167 Capitol avenue, the Rev. John A. Fauche, of the A. M. E. Church, officiating. The ceremony was witnessed by a select party of friends. Music for the occasion was furnished by Prof. R. H. Neale, Jr. During the evening an elegant supper was prepared for the guests, who did ample justice to the lay out. A very sociable time was had by all present.
