Rudy Koch, age 89, of Grand Island, died Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Nye 
Legacy in Fremont.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Wednesday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral 
Home in Grand Island. The Rev. Sheri Lodel will officiate. 

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park. 

Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral 
home. 

Rudolph C. Koch was born Oct. 16, 1921, in Eustis, to Christian J. and 
Karoline (Gutekunst) Koch. 

He married Maxine (Kiesel) Koch on May 14, 1943, in Gothenburg.

Survivors of the immediate family include Jackie (Jack) Huyser of Pahrump; 
Vickie Anderson of Fremont; Dudley Koch of Garden City, Mo., and two sisters, 
Esther Brockmeier of Eustis and Elsie Travis of Kearney.

Rudy was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Maxine; son-in-law Tom 
Anderson; daughter-in-law Michaela Koch; grandson Brian Klein; great grandson, 
Colin Saddler; two sisters, Wilma (Albert) White of North Platte, Rose (Bill) 
Schurr of Eustis; two brothers, Ernest (Elnora) Koch of Gothenburg, Lorenz 
(Elsie) Koch of Farnam and two brothers-in-law, Albert Brockmeier and Paul 
Travis.
