Frances L. Matera (nee Daiss), age 84, died April 1, 2011 in Victorville, 
Calif. 

Inurnment was April 8, 2011 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 69855 
E. Ramon Rd, Cathedral City, Calif., next to her husband Danny.  

The service was officiated by Pastor Mark Mammel of Prince of Peace 
Evangelical Lutheran Church of Yucaipa, Calif.

Frances was born in 1926 to Frank and Marie (Hess) Daiss in Eustis.  All of 
her early education was in Lexington city schools, and Dawson County Nebraska 
schools.  Frances was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Trinity Lutheran 
Church in Lexington.  

Frances was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Marie Daiss; two 
brothers, Marion and Daniel; three husbands; a sister, Bonnie Porter; brother-
in-law, Marion Bonser and sister-in-law Betty Daiss.  

She is survived by one brother, Howard Daiss of Lexington; one sister, Shirley 
Bonser of Bertrand as well as nieces and nephews, many cousins, relatives and 
friends.
